JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit Reroll Guide
Decide whether to reroll in Golden Spirit, reset a guest account safely, and learn which opening pulls are worth keeping.
Quick answer
- Most players should keep their first workable account and progress toward guaranteed pulls.
- Use a guest account and spend only free opening currency while testing a reroll.
- Keep any useful SSR or a favorite character instead of chasing an unproven perfect start.
- Bind the account only after you accept the result, then build toward the 60-pull guarantee.

Should You Reroll in Golden Spirit?
For most players, rerolling is not worth a long grind. The permanent Character Recruitment pool guarantees a random SSR by 60 pulls and gives selectable SSR rewards at 180 and 300 pulls. Character duplicates become shards, while signature abilities have their own recruitment and upgrade path. Continued progress therefore does more for an account than repeatedly discarding its first few pulls.
A short reroll can still make sense when you want a favorite character and have not bound the guest account. Set a strict limit of one or two resets. Keep the first account that gives you an SSR you want to use, then begin building the full team.
Safe Golden Spirit Reroll Steps
Use this route only before linking the guest account or spending money. Menu labels can vary by device and game version, so read every confirmation screen before deleting local data.
- Launch Golden Spirit and choose the available Guest sign-in.
- Clear the opening story tasks and collect the free rewards currently offered to that guest.
- Open Character Recruitment, read the live pool details, and spend the free opening currency.
- Keep the account if it has an SSR or favorite you will actually build.
- If you reject it, confirm the guest is still unbound, close the game, and remove its local app data.
- Relaunch as a new guest and repeat only until you reach your preset limit.
- Link the account through an available sign-in service after choosing the result.
On Android, use the system app settings and choose Clear storage for Golden Spirit. Clear cache only removes temporary files and will not perform the same reset. Android menu names vary by manufacturer.
On iPhone or iPad, delete the app, reinstall it from the App Store, and open it again. If the game restores the same guest after either method, stop before deleting anything else and use the checks below.
What Counts as a Good Reroll?
Keep any SSR from the permanent Character Recruitment pool that you are willing to build. There is not enough repeatable global-build testing to justify hours of resets for one universal best character. A favorite JoJo is a valid stopping point, and an SSR that fills a useful role for your opening team is an even better one.
Treat the first SSR as a head start, not a finished account. Golden Spirit asks you to develop several systems around a team, including abilities, Stand growth, equipment, and character upgrades. One rare pull cannot replace that progression.
The standard pool's documented base rates are 2% SSR, 35% SR, and 63% R. A specific SSR is therefore much harder to target than any SSR. Do not reject a useful account because an early launch tier list places a different character one row higher.
Why the Recruitment Milestones Matter
The permanent pool gives you more control as the same account keeps pulling:
| Recruitment point | Documented result | Reroll implication |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 60 pulls | A random SSR is guaranteed by pull 60 | Normal progression eventually removes an SSR-free start |
| 180 pulls | Select one SSR from the pool | The account gains a chosen target without another reset |
| 300 pulls | Select one more SSR from the pool | Long-term play adds a second controlled choice |
The 60-pull counter resets when you receive an SSR. The 180 and 300 selectors are separate milestones. This structure rewards staying on one account, especially because Ability Recruitment has its own guarantee and wishlist. Resetting throws away progress toward both character depth and the abilities those characters need.
When the Reset Does Not Work
First confirm that you used a guest login. A linked account can restore its server progress after local files are removed, which is the purpose of binding it.
On Android, verify that you selected Clear storage rather than Clear cache. On iOS, verify that you chose Delete App rather than only removing the icon from the Home Screen. Then reinstall or relaunch once.
If the same guest returns, the game is restoring that identity beyond the local files. There is no verified faster bypass in the current English launch documentation. Keep the account or use a separate guest option only when the login screen explicitly provides one. Do not factory-reset a device for a mobile game reroll.
