JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit World Boss Guide
Build a stronger World Boss team, chain Rushes, exploit Stance breaks, and counter every boss in the weekly rotation.
Quick answer
- Build one main damage dealer, one Energy or Rush enabler, one buffer or debuffer, and enough survival to keep the core active.
- Play at normal speed until you can trigger Rushes reliably, then speed up only after the action order is stable.
- Break the Stance Bar before committing your strongest actions, because most bosses expose a major vulnerability after the break.
- Read the current boss skill panel before every run and adjust targeting, spacing, damage type, or crowd control for that day's mechanic.

How to Score Higher in World Boss
To raise your World Boss score, build for repeated Rushes and Stance breaks, then spend your strongest attacks during the boss's vulnerable state. A powerful roster can still waste most of its damage by firing into immunity, damage reduction, or a closed Stance window.
Treat the Stance Bar as your damage clock: build pressure before it breaks, then spend your strongest actions inside the opening.
- Read today's skill panel. Identify the boss's target rules, dangerous area, immunity state, and Stance-break effect before setting a formation.
- Choose a damage core. Start with your best sustained single-target attacker, then add an Energy or Rush enabler and a buffer or debuffer.
- Use only needed survival. Add enough defense, healing, or control to keep the damage core active through the first dangerous cycle.
- Learn at normal speed. Order actions to trigger Rushes consistently and stop spending major attacks just before the Stance Bar breaks.
- Review one failed slot. Check who died, who dealt little damage, and whether the team missed the boss's vulnerable window before changing one unit.
Weekly World Boss Rotation and Counters
The rotation changes the encounter every day. Keep the same role-based core when it works, then change the slot or formation that answers the daily mechanic.
| Day | Boss | Defining mechanic | First adjustment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday | Akira Otoishi | Drains all Energy from the nearest target and attacks around the farthest target | Put a durable, less Energy-dependent unit nearest and avoid clustering around the farthest unit |
| Tuesday | Notorious Chase | Targets nearby high-Attack-Speed units, drains Energy with HP loss, and fires piercing lines | Keep a durable unit in melee range and stagger the rest of the formation so one line hits fewer allies |
| Wednesday | Risotto Nero | Places Iron Caltrops on the largest cluster and resists ranged damage until a Stance stun | Spread the team, push Stance damage, and hold ranged burst for the stun window |
| Thursday | F.F. | Creates tentacle AoE and splits into colonies after a Stance break | Separate fragile units and bring damage that can clear multiple colonies without losing boss pressure |
| Friday | Tarukus | Applies Bleed in a forward cone, Silences the team, and chains the highest-damage dealer | Protect the lead attacker, break the Chain quickly, and front-load Stance pressure before Silence |
| Saturday | Wamuu | Punishes units in front and nearby, while damage over time becomes much stronger during Atmospheric Rift | Spread away from the front cone and bring reliable damage-over-time effects for the channel |
| Sunday | Cool Ice | Gains power over time, becomes immune while flying, and is disabled by a Stance break | Do not spend burst during flight; use Stance pressure and control to create the real damage window |
This table gives the first change to test. Your final formation still depends on character range, upgrades, gear, and which Rush combinations your account can trigger reliably.
Tarukus Free-to-Play Example
Tarukus is a clean example of the full World Boss loop. His roar Silences the whole team, and Chain Death Match locks the character who has dealt the most damage. When his Stance Bar empties, he takes 100% more damage for five seconds.
A launch-day run uses Guido Mista as the primary attacker, Will A. Zeppeli and Abbacchio in the core, then tests Cioccolata and Straizo as flexible slots. The useful lesson is the role pattern and action order. The exact roster reflects one account's upgrades and gear.
Use this sequence:
- Start with the actions that establish your Rush chain and pressure the Stance Bar.
- Keep your highest-damage dealer healthy enough to survive or escape Chain Death Match.
- Stop spending major attacks when the Stance Bar is close to breaking.
- Trigger the break, then fire the strongest available attacks during the five-second vulnerability.
- Check the damage report and replace the lowest-impact slot with more Energy, support, survival, or damage.
Copy the role pattern and action order, not the exact account roster. A well-upgraded lower-rarity unit can outperform an unfinished SSR when the unit contributes more Rushes, uptime, or usable damage.
Fix a Low World Boss Score
The team triggers too few Rushes
Return to normal speed and test a fixed opening order. Prioritize characters whose actions connect into repeatable Rushes, then consider an Energy support slot if your strongest skills arrive too slowly.
Damage drops even though the team survives
Watch the boss state before spending ultimates. Cool Ice ignores damage while flying, Risotto reduces ranged damage until his Stance stun, and every boss has a different break payoff. Delayed burst can produce more total damage than firing every skill immediately.
The main attacker dies early
Move fragile damage dealers away from the boss's priority area, then add one survival tool before removing damage slots. Against Tarukus, remember that the highest-damage dealer becomes the Chain target. Against Notorious Chase, nearby high-Attack-Speed units attract tentacles.
A proven team suddenly performs worse
Confirm the day and boss first. The weekly rotation changes target selection, damage resistance, area pressure, and vulnerability rules, so yesterday's formation may solve the wrong encounter.
